Marco Verratti’s agent scoffed at reports he could join Roma in exchange for Daniele De Rossi to PSG.
The rumours emerged in La Gazzetta dello Sport this weekend after several days of reports Paris Saint-Germain are pushing for the Italy midfielder.
De Rossi has a €15m price-tag, though is also wanted by Real Madrid and Chelsea.
It was suggested PSG could use Verratti as part of an exchange deal to gain the advantage over their competition.
“It’s absolute rubbish. There is nothing in it,” insisted Verratti’s agent Donato Di Campli on AS Roma Radio.
“Will he join Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid? At the moment the priority is to remain in Paris.”
