Cagliari President Massimo Cellino has admitted that it 'breaks my heart' to see the club move away from the Is Arenas.
The Isolani were plagued by ground troubles last season, playing 'home' matches in Parma and Trieste due to the newly-built stadium's safety concerns.
And with the Rossoblu set to play in Trieste next term, the club's owner has admitted that it is a bitter pill to take.
“Cagliari is my city,” Cagliari News 24. “When Quartu wanted to host the club, I felt honoured.
“And now, I go there and see the stadium coming off piece-by-piece.
“It breaks my heart to see that.
“We gave our blood for the Is Arenas.”
