Gabriel Paletta has declared that he hopes to stay at Parma for next season, as he feels he has ‘much to learn and improve’.
The Argentine has been linked with a move away this summer after impressing last season at the Ennio Tardini.
However, the player sees his future as still at the Emilia-Romagna side.
“The club have said as much and moreover, I hope to stay,” Paletta told reporters today.
“With the Argentines and the South Americans, the fans have a different relationship, it is special and this is important.
“I think I have much to learn and to improve, I have always said that in every training session there is something that you can learn.
“With respect to last season, I would like to also score more than the one goal I managed.”
Paletta also reflected on a particular new teammate this summer, Antonio Cassano.
“Having Antonio with us is very important, he is one of the strongest players in the League, we hope to have him in form and with the desire to do well.”
