Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that Edin Dzeko is not for sale.
The Bosnian striker was used sparingly last season by the Premier League club, and reports over the summer had suggested that Napoli could make a move for the forward.
However, the Chilean tactician has claimed that the 27-year-old will not be going anywhere.
“I talked with Edin about two weeks ago,” he told reporters. “There is no problem between us.
“He will stay here because for me he is a very important player.
“I'm sure this year he will show what he can do.”
