Walter Mazzarri has revealed that it was President Massimo Moratti that convinced him to join Inter this summer.
The tactician joined the Nerazzurri after four years at Napoli, and the 51-year-old has admitted that he 'got goosebumps' when the San Siro side's chief rang him.
“Moratti said to me, 'I've contacted you because I need a Coach just like you,'” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“It was like a shot of adrenaline.
“It gave me goose bumps because it was exactly what I wanted to hear from an important President such as Moratti.”
