Milan chief executive Ernesto Bronzetti has confirmed reports that Keisuke Honda wants to join the club.
The Japan international was rumoured earlier this afternoon to be on the verge of a move to the Rossoneri.
And the board member has claimed that the 27-year-old has even rejected a transfer to Barcelona.
“The gap between our offer and their asking price is low,” he told Sky Sport Italia,
“Tonight after their League game he will speak with the President and tell them that he wants to leave.
“They would like to keep him for the Champions, but the guy just wants to join Milan.
“He even turned down a move to Barcelona.”
