Roma are currently evaluating the offers that have been made to buy the club, according to an official statement.
Italpetroli, the holding company owned by the Sensi family, is part of the process despite giving up control of Roma after a debt resettlement plan was agreed with UniCredit earlier this year.
According to the statement, a limited number of offers will be selected and verified before the next phase of the club's sale begins in earnest.
It's thought that two offers are being given the greatest attention, one from the United States and another from the Middle East.
Roma have expressed their intention not to comment on speculation regarding the identity of the bidders.
