The draw for the Coppa Italia has pitted Inter against either Cittadella, Perugia or Savona with a possible Milan derby in the quarter-finals.
The competition kicks off on August 4 with the Lega Pro and Lega Dilettanti clubs in action, while the first Serie A sides enter in the Third Round on August 17.
Inter, Parma, Cagliari, Chievo, Bologna, Sampdoria, Atalanta, Torino, Genoa, Sassuolo, Hellas Verona and Livorno come in during that round.
The tennis-style seeding system has the potential for Inter to meet Milan in the quarter-finals. Other potential quarters are Roma-Juventus, Lazio-Napoli and Fiorentina-Catania.
