Bayern Munich could have a different manager when they face Inter in the Champions League, as Louis Van Gaal risks the sack.
The Germans have a good chance of qualifying after their 1-0 victory at San Siro, but their Bundesliga form has been appalling.
Today's 3-1 defeat to Hannover left them in fourth place and a good seven points adrift of second.
"This is the absolute low point of the season," declared chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. "We've just had eight catastrophic days.
"We are all bitterly disappointed but we have been around long enough to take a night digesting it.
"I do not think anyone will sleep tonight. We are in a situation where everyone at Bayern Munich is very concerned."
It is reported Van Gaal could be fired over the weekend and replaced with Matthias Sammer.
