Mattia De Sciglio has his sights set on Milan’s Champions League preliminary round and becoming a key player.
“The team is working very well, as we know that the Champions League play-off is in a month, so we have to reach that appointment in the best possible way,” he told Milan Channel.
The full-back spent the summer at the Confederations Cup with Italy despite being only 20 years old.
“My personal objective is to play consistently, as I did last season, so I will always ensure that I am ready.
“We mustn’t make the same mistake of starting the season badly, so have to use the memories of last term to get off on the right foot.”
