Napoli wing-back Juan Zuniga is unlikely to join Juventus this summer, at least according to reports in the Italian Press.
Sky Sports journalist Manuele Baiocchini has told Radio Marte that the Colombia international will not leave Stadio San Paolo during this transfer window, despite heavy rumours linking him with the Bianconeri.
The defender’s contract is set to expire next summer, with an extension seemingly unlikely.
The Partenopei though, want €10m for the 27-year-old, a fee Antonio Conte’s men are unwilling to rise to.
As such, Zuniga will not join the Old Lady this season, but could sign for free next term.
With the former Siena man set to stay, Rafa Benitez’s side now look to have distanced themselves from a move for Liverpool’s Martin Skrtel.
