The agent of Emanuele Calaio has admitted that his client would ‘welcome’ a return to Torino.
Following the arrival of Gonzalo Higuain at Napoli, the 31-year-old’s future at Stadio San Paolo remains in doubt.
And with rumours linking him with Torino, the forward’s representative has admitted that playing for Il Toro again is not out of the question.
“I have not spoken to Emanuele for a few days,” Umberto Calaio told Radio Crc. “But I know he wants to play at Napoli.
“The club do not want to just give him away, but there have been enquiries from the likes of Livorno.
“Torino are a great team, and have always been in Emanuele’s heart. After 15 years, he would welcome a return.”
Calaio came through the youth ranks at Il Toro before leaving in 2005 for Pescara.
