Ricky Alvarez was happy with his performance in Inter’s penalty shoot-out victory against Juventus.
The Argentine gave his side the lead before Arturo Vidal responded in the Guinness International Champions Cup encounter which ended 1-1 after 90 minutes.
“I feel good,” the attacking midfielder told Inter Channel after the tie in Miami. “A game like today is a confidence boost for me.”
The Nerazzurri had been criticised for their performances in their US tour, but they responded well to the 4-0 loss against Valencia.
“We played well and produced the sort of football that Coach Walter Mazzarri wants from us,” added the former Velez player. “This has to be our starting point.
“The results don't matter at the moment – it's really about making things click and we did that well today.
“When we had to attack, we did, and when we needed to drop back behind the ball and start from there then we did that too.”
