New Genoa signing Francesco Lodi has claimed that the advent of video technology has made life difficult for attackers.
The 29-year-old left Catania for the Grifone this summer, but the attacker has admitted that defenders and goalkeepers are wise to his tricks.
“It's hard being Lodi,” he told the club's official website. “It's tough because goalkeepers and defenders watch videos of you.
“They know all about you.
“The development of video analysis has complicated things.
“Players know where you'll go, when you'll shoot.
“You just have to try and train and come up with different solutions.”
