Milan ace Mario Balotelli is set for tests after picking up an injury in the Guinness International Champions Cup tie against LA Galaxy.
The Italian international, who has touched down in Italy this morning with the rest of the squad, suffered a muscle problem to his right calf in the 2-0 win.
“Balotelli will have some exams and hopefully it is nothing too serious,” Vice-President Adriano Galliani stated.
“Let us be patient because no one wants to take a player out of international duty.”
The former Manchester City striker was set to be included in the Italy squad for Wednesday’s friendly against Argentina.
However, the Diavolo will want him in perfect condition for their Champions League qualifying tie later this month.
