Edinson Cavani has bought a page in the Corriere dello Sport to say goodbye to the Napoli fans following his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
A black and white photo of the Uruguayan international is headlined with: “1000 unforgettable days, 104 special moments shared with you. Azzurro will always be in my heart. Thank you for all of the love. Gracias Napoli.”
The 26-year-old striker joined the Stadio San Paolo outfit in 2010 from Palermo in a transfer which eventually cost Napoli €17m.
After 104 goals in 138 games, he signed for PSG this summer in a deal which saw the Italian club net a massive €64.5m.
