Lazio President Claudio Lotito is surprised by the transfer links with available Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella.
“I’ve heard and read about these voices associating Lazio with Quagliarella, but I’ll tell you the truth,” Lotito said to Tutto Juve.
“I’m not aware of any negotiation. There are no transfer talks going on with Juventus at all.”
The Italian champions are looking to sell at least one of their forwards this summer following the arrivals of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente.
It is expected that one from Quagliarella and Alessandro Matri will be sold if a big enough offer is tabled.
Quagliarella, formerly of Sampdoria and Napoli, has also been linked with clubs in Spain and England.
The 30-year-old joined the Old Lady in 2010. He has scored 26 goals in 79 games for the Bianconeri.
