Sources close to Samuel Eto’o claim he is “ready for notable economic sacrifices” to facilitate an Inter return.
The Cameroon hitman is frustrated with the situation at Anzhi, as the rich backers have pulled the plug, forcing massive cuts to their finances and the squad.
Although Eto’o has also been linked with a swoop by Napoli, LA Galaxy and some Premier League sides, a return to Inter is on the cards.
“Eto’o is ready for notable economic sacrifices in order to come back to Inter,” a source close to the player told RMC Sport in France.
The 32-year-old won the Treble at San Siro in 2010, but left in 2011 to become the highest paid player in the world on a reported £18m per season.
