Pescara are said to have turned down a €2m offer from Celtic for defender Marco Capuano.
The 21-year-old took part in the European Under-21 Championship in June, which saw Italy take second place behind Spain.
According to Tuttosport, Scottish giants Celtic made a proposal worth £1.7m for Capuano, but recently relegated Pescara turned it down.
He made 26 Serie A appearances last season, plus one in the Coppa Italia.
Meanwhile, the Delfini are expected to sign forward Giuseppe Mascara, whose time in Dubai with Al Nasr is over.
