Serie A newcomers Sassuolo have secured Chievo forward Diego Farias on loan with an option to buy half his contract.
The 23-year-old Brazilian arrives at a cost of €700,000 for the season-long loan plus an option to buy half his contract for a further €1m.
Farias spent last season on loan in Serie B with Padova, where he scored 10 goals in 34 games and provided five assists.
He grew up in the Chievo youth academy, but has gone out on numerous loan spells at Verona, Foggia, Nocerina and Padova.
