Alessandro Matri’s agent is apparently in talks with Napoli officials about a proposed move from Juventus.
A fee of around €12m has been agreed in principal between the two clubs as the Old Lady look to reduce the number of attacking options in their squad.
Tuttosport claim that the Italian international has been offered a five-year deal worth €2.7m a season at the Stadio San Paolo.
The striker, who will be 29 next week, was signed by the Bianconeri in January 2011 after making a name for himself at Cagliari.
Matri, also of interest to Everton, Liverpool, Milan and Lazio, has scored 29 goals in 83 games for the Turin giants.
