New Inter signing Rolando says he hoped for another shot at Serie A after his six-month spell at Napoli last season.
The defender has joined the Nerazzurri on loan from Porto in a move which has seen him link-up with boss Walter Mazzarri again.
“We had an excellent season with Napoli last term and I hope to do something similar at Inter,” the Portuguese international told Inter Channel.
“I've come here to help the team go as far as possible.
“I feel great,” he added. “I'm here now, I've had my first training session, got to know my new teammates and I want to carry on like this and get ready for Inter's next game.
“I wanted to come to Italy and it feels amazing to be here, to have joined a great club like Inter.”
