Eusebio Di Francesco warned Sassuolo that they face “an open game” in the Coppa Italia against Novara.
They meet in the Third Round on Saturday, kicking off at 19.45 UK time in Novara.
“It will be an open game, just like last year,” said the Coach.
These sides clashed in Serie B last season, as Sassuolo won 2-0 at home and lost 3-2 away.
“Both teams will try to play great football, so it’s going to be an entertaining battle. We are working well, but still have to find the right level of physical fitness.
“The team is improving and this makes me happy. Some of our internationals are more tired than others, but are at our disposal.”
