Cagliari President Massimo Cellino has reiterated that his star players are not for sale this summer.
The likes of Davide Astori and Radja Nainggolan have been heavily linked with moves away from Sardinia throughout the transfer window.
But the club’s chief has claimed that the big names are going nowhere.
“I refused €15m for Astori because as a player he is too important to us,” he told reporters. “I want to keep him even if a big club wants him.
“I doubt Napoli will want him anymore. Roma? I don’t know much about that.
“I don’t want to lose Nainggolan either – that is the last thing I want to see.”
