Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi says he would welcome Ricky Kaka back to the club with open arms.
The Brazil international is injured again at Real Madrid and has lost all confidence in Spain.
Kaka is said to be frustrated at the way he has been treated by Jose Mourinho.
Last month, the player's father appeared to encourage a move back to Milan.
Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has ruled out a transfer on account of Kaka's wages.
However, Berlusconi has given the impression that impossible is nothing with regard to Kaka.
Speaking at a party celebrating his 25 years in charge of Milan, he said: "I haven't spoken about money, I have yet to talk with Galliani. I don't know anything about it.
"But we are here with open arms."
