Marco Parolo intends to make his presence felt in front of goal this season for Serie A outfit Parma.
The 28-year-old is in his second campaign at the Stadio Tardini, but he’s hoping to score more than the three in 36 games he achieved last season.
“We need to improve our aim,” the midfielder commented after the 0-0 draw with Chievo Verona at the weekend.
“I made a pledge at the start of the season that I will get five or six this term and I intend to keep my promise.”
The Italian international’s previous best in the top flight came in 2010-11 when he grabbed five goals in 37 appearances for Cesena. That was also his first Serie A campaign.
