Luca Antonini sent a touching message to fans and teammates after his move to Genoa. “I gave my heart for Milan.”
The full-back completed his transfer to Genoa today in a straight swap with Valter Birsa. 
“After 23 years in Rossonero, today I salute the team I support,” wrote Antonini on Twitter.
“The time has come for me to go. Goodbye my Milan, I gave my heart for you.”
The 31-year-old grew up in the Milan youth academy and had several loan spells at Prato, Ancona, Sampdoria, Pescara, Modena, Arezzo, Siena and Empoli before settling back at San Siro in 2008.
