Goalkeeper Albano Bizzarri has thanked former club Lazio after his late move to Genoa on Monday.
The veteran shot-stopper made the switch from the Biancocelesti to the Grifone on the final day of the transfer window.
But the 35-year-old has found time to express his gratitude towards his former employers.
“I moved because I wanted to play more minutes,” he told Lazio Style Radio. “And that’s what I found at Genoa.
“It’s say for me to say goodbye. I have lived some unforgettable moments at the club and in the city.
“I want to thank the Lazio fans, but I’m sure then understand my choice.”
