Bologna boss Stefano Pioli has praised new signing Jonathan Cristaldo, who joined on loan from Metalist Kharkiv.
The Argentine striker has signed until the end of the season for the Rossblu, and the Coach believe that he can take the burden off of Alessandro Diamanti.
“Cristaldo is a very motivated guy,” Pioli told Sky Sport Italia. “He chose Bologna because he wanted to experience Italian football.
“He can play as a second striker or lead the line, with Diamanti behind him.
“I believe he has the right quality to be useful for this team. And can take some responsibility off of Alessandro.
“But he has already proven to be able to withstand these pressures.
“We have never thought about a Bologna without Diamanti.”
