Javier Zanetti feels Mauro Icardi and Carlos Tevez can have a part to play for the Argentina national side.
Icardi is a 20-year-old striker who joined Zanetti’s Inter this summer, while the veteran is a former international teammate of Tevez – a player who presently doesn’t feature for his country.
“I’m convinced that Icardi can be the future of the Seleccion,” the currently inured full-back told Deportivo Telam.
“With regard to Tevez, I think he will do well with Juventus and I’m certain he will be back for Argentina.
“He has settled really well into Italian football.”
The 29-year-old moved to the Turin giants in the summer after spending the last four seasons with Manchester City.
Tevez has scored in each of Juventus’ first three official games of the season.
