Lazio are forced to reshuffle their midfield, as Lucas Biglia and Hernanes miss today’s match with Chievo.
The Biancocelesti host the Flying Donkeys at the Stadio Olimpico at 14.00 UK time (13.00 GMT). Click here for a match preview.
Hernanes sits out a ban after he was sent off against Juventus, but Biglia is not in the squad either, as he failed to recover from a muscular injury he picked up while on international duty with Argentina.
Stefano Mauri is also suspended awaiting an appeal in the Calcioscommesse trial and Stefan Radu injured, so Coach Vladimir Petkovic has to change things around.
It’s reported he will adopt a 4-4-1-1 system with Ederson supporting Miroslav Klose, moving Antonio Candreva over to the right.
Curiously, Lazio have called up goalkeeper Etrit Berisha despite Chievo launching a protest against his registration with the club.
Chievo claim he signed a contract with them first, but the player and Lazio maintain their deal is the only valid one.
Lazio squad for Chievo: Marchetti, Berisha, Strakosha; Biava, Dias, Konko, Ciani, Novaretti, Cavanda, Cana, Vinicius; Ledesma, Onazi, Ederson, Candreva, Lulic, Gonzalez, Crecco; Floccari, Klose, Keita, Tounkara
