Domenico Di Carlo and Serse Cosmi are being paired with Sassuolo should the club axe boss Eusebio Di Francesco.
The minnows are taking part in their first ever Serie A season, but they’ve lost all four of their games so far this term.
To make matters worse, the Neroverdi have now conceded 15 goals in the process after the 7-0 home loss to Inter on Sunday.
“Di Francesco is our Coach, but there are some considerations to make,” admitted director general Nereo Bonato.
“The situation is getting heavy and the performance was very disappointing,” added the official.
“Now we have to find the Sassuolo spirit again and we need to try and understand what has happened.”
Sassuolo are away to League leaders Napoli in midweek, while they will entertain Lazio at the weekend.
Di Carlo has been sidelined since he was axed at Chievo Verona in October 2012, while Cosmi has not worked since being shown the door at Siena in December of the same year.
