New Roma striker Gervinho has reflected on the derby win at the weekend and his relationship with Coach Rudi Garcia.
The Ivorian forward left Arsenal over the summer to join the Giallorossi, and the former Lille man has spoken of what it was like to beat neighbours Lazio on Sunday.
“It’s an important game for the city,” he told RMC. “All the fans were talking about it for some time. And some of the players were saying before the match that we could not lose.
“Garcia and I know each other very well. I was happy at Arsenal but now I am happy to be here in Rome.
“I had a good relationship with [Arsenal boss Arsene] Wenger, but it is better with Garcia.”
