The agent of Roma midfielder Marquinho has insisted there is no problem between his client and Coach Rudi Garcia.
The Brazilian was disappointed after being substituted in the 2-0 win over Sampdoria on Wednesday, but his representative has claimed that there is no bad blood between the player and the tactician.
“Marquinho is fine with Garcia,” Alessio Ceccarelli told Gianluca Di Marzio. “His outburst in Genoa was aimed at the referee.
“Not that the referee had a bad game, it’s just that Marquniho felt he was fouled a few times – and that’s where his reaction came from.
“He has an exceptional relationship with Garcia and is respected by the Coach – they speak with each other on a daily basis.
“The Coach has a great relationship with all his players.”
