Despite reports to the contrary, Diego Milito and David Di Michele have not recovered in time for the Inter-Lecce game.
There were hopes Milito would be able to make his comeback this Sunday, but is again not even in the squad named by Leonardo.
Il Principe has not featured since the 5-3 win over Roma on February 6 and in total has just 16 Serie A appearances this season.
The Nerazzurri are without Ivan Cordoba, who sits out a one-match ban, and Andrea Ranocchia, but welcome back Javier Zanetti after he missed the Bayern Munich triumph with flu.
Lecce are also forced to do without a key figure, as Di Michele has not recovered in time for this game.
He joins Alberto Giuliatto, Edward Ofere and Javier Ernesto Chevanton on the treatment table, plus the suspended Gianni Munari.
