Inter revelation Jonathan insists his return to form is thanks to the appointment of boss Walter Mazzarri in the summer.
The defender had struggled to impress at San Siro since his move in 2011, but he’s caught the eye so far this term.
“All of the team is progressing thanks to Mazzarri and his staff too,” the Brazilian told InterNOS. “They ask us to make the right movements.
“The work we did in pre-season and what we do every day helps us and gives us a boost so we give 100 per cent.
“Of course I still have to improve on the tactical and physical end, but I’m doing well.
“In terms of commitment, I had only done something like this when I was with my youth team in Brazil.”
The former Santos and Parma player has scored one goal in five Serie A appearances so far this season.
