Reports in the Italian Press this afternoon have claimed that Francesco Lodi could return to Catania in January.
Il Secolo XIX have insisted that the Genoa playmaker, who only signed for the Grifone in the summer from the Elefanti, could return to Sicily after just six months on the mainland.
The paper has reported that the 29-year-old is struggling to adapt to life at the Marassi, and would welcome a move back to his former side.
Genoa would be reticent however, to sell Lodi so soon after signing him.
