The Azzurri will play in Copenhagen on Friday evening, then complete the World Cup qualifying campaign next Tuesday against Armenia.
Today Cesare Prandelli tested out his team with a game between ranks, testing two different tridents.
Balotelli, Rossi and Candreva took on Dani Osvaldo, Alessio Cerci and Alessandro Florenzi.
Marco Verratti and Lorenzo Insigne did not take part in the training session due to minor injuries.
Italy have already qualified for the 2014 World Cup with two games to spare.
