Fiorentina’s medical staff are reportedly planning an early-November return for striker Mario Gomez, in time to face Milan.
The summer signing is currently working on his recovery from knee ligament damage sustained in mid-September’s League meeting with Cagliari.
The Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that whilst his return to full fitness is still a few weeks away, a specific target has been set.
It is understood that La Viola’s medical staff are working towards having the German international fit and fighting for the team’s Week 11 trip out to Milan.
Vincenzo Montella’s side has seen form falter of late, as they are into the October international break off the back of a winless run of three games, including two consecutive draws.
