UEFA President Michel Platini believes that Juventus can win the Champions League come May.
The Bianconeri have struggled so far in Europe this term, drawing their first two group stage matches against Copenhagen and Galatasaray.
But the head of football on the continent has claimed that Antonio Conte’s team can challenge at home and abroad.
“I do not see much difference between Juve last year and this year,” he told La Repubblica.
“It just seems that the fans have become hyper-critical of the team. If you play badly and are second in the standings, then how imagine how well they’ll do when they play well?
"Juventus are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and can aspire to win the Champions League. I do not see why Juve can’t beat Real Madrid.”
