Rodrigo Palacio’s injury sustained playing for Argentina on Friday is nothing serious, but Inter are reportedly pushing that he doesn’t play on Tuesday.
The striker caused initial concern when hobbling off in the closing stages of Argentina’s World Cup qualifying win against Peru.
Whilst reports through Italy today follow on from the player’s initial assertion that it is nothing serious, Inter are reportedly pushing that Argentina do not play him on Tuesday.
La Albiceleste are already qualified for the World Cup in Brazil next summer, so the Nerazzurri are seen as working to resolve that Palacio is not involved, so as to allow him to fully recover from his knock in time for his return to Italy later in the week.
