Domenico Criscito is keen to return to the Italian national set-up after recovering from serious knee injury.
“I watch every Italy game,” the Zenit St Petersburg defender told Tuttosport. “I really miss the atmosphere of the Italy camp.
“It is like a fairy tale being there and the Italy squad really is a splendid group of players. I can’t wait to wear the national shirt again.”
The 26-year-old has won 20 caps for his country so far since making his debut under Marcello Lippi against Switzerland in August 2009.
