Napoli defender Miguel Angel Britos could require surgery after he dislocated his shoulder against Roma.
The Uruguayan went off during the first half in last night’s 2-0 Serie A defeat at the Stadio Olimpico.
Today Napoli released a statement confirming tests had shown a dislocated right shoulder.
He is now wearing a brace and will visit Professor Mariani and Professor Castagna at the Villa Stuart clinic on Monday.
Curiously, teammate Juan Camilo Zuniga will also be at the same clinic on Monday to undergo surgery on his knee.
