Palermo striker Abel Hernandez has claimed that he wants to stay at the club and fire them back to Serie A.
The Uruguayan striker was heavily linked with a move away from the Sicily over the summer, but stayed with the relegated side, and has insisted that he wants to fire them back to the top division.
“I want to score as many goals as possible,” he told reporters. “But overall, my main goal is to win as many games as possible and bring this team back to Serie A.
“Hopefully if I can do that then maybe I can get back in the national team, even though there are two great forwards in front of team [Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani].”
