Raul Albiol has reflected on his first few months in Serie A with Napoli, and has admitted that he wants to do well enough for a World Cup place.
The Spain international joined the Partenopei from Real Madrid in the summer, and has conceded that he has settled in well at Stadio San Paolo.
“I am really happy in Serie A,” he told TVE. “It is a great experience playing for Napoli.
“I’m really settling in well here. I’m want to try and be the best player I can possibly be, and help Napoli win.
“Benitez was an important part of me coming here, and then Callejon and Higuain came as well.
“At the moment I am thinking about doing well with Napoli, but it is normal to be thinking about the World Cup.”
