Roma are reportedly in pole position to land promising Argentine youngster Leandro Paredes.
The attacking midfielder, still just 19, has been on the radar of Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini – a man who is renowned for his knowledge of the South American market.
According to Sport Panorama, the Serie A leaders have basically done a deal with Boca Juniors for his signature.
Roma, however, will not be able to sign him until next season given his non-EU status at the moment.
Atletico Madrid were also interested in the Argentine Under-17 international.
