Lorenzo Insigne’s agent has denied reports that his client has had a falling out with Coach Rafa Benitez.
Stories had emerged in the Italian Press that the young forward may have had a disagreement with the Spanish tactician, and could be left out tonight against Fiorentina.
But the 22-year-old’s representative has rubbished those claims.
“I honestly do not understand where this has come from,” Antonio Ottaiano told ArenaNapoli.
“There may have been something between the Coach and the player during the game, but that was just to give advice.
“It’s a completely normal thing. Lorenzo, as always, does what the Coach wants him to.
“Napoli are a highly competitive team, and can only field 11 players. There is nothing abnormal about that.”
