Brazil boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has surprisingly recalled Milan forward Robinho for two November friendlies.
The former Real Madrid and Manchester City player had been ignored by his country for over two years. He last played against Germany in August 2011.
Scolari, though, will take a closer look at the 29-year-old for the ties against Honduras on November 16 and Chile three days later.
It is being claimed that Robinho has benefitted from Diego Costa’s decision to play for Spain instead of the Selecao.
Robinho has scored 27 goals in 90 caps for his country. He has netted three goals in 14 ties for the Diavolo this term.
Roma full-back Douglas Maicon and Lazio midfielder Hernanes have also been selected.
