Piersilvio Berlusconi, son of the Milan President, felt Zlatan Ibrahimovic's ban was excessive and notes Mario Balotelli would be “a good signing.”
The Rossoneri only have a two-point lead over Inter going into next Saturday's Derby della Madonnina.
Ibrahimovic probably won't be there, although Milan have lodged an appeal against his three-match ban for punching Bari defender Marco Rossi in the ribs.
“I think the ban was excessive, but then again, I am talking as a fan,” commented the son of President Silvio Berlusconi.
“Clearly I hope to see him play in the derby. Inter are closing in, but we have confidence. Let the best team win.”
Many are already looking to next season with the persistent rumours that Manchester City and Italy striker Balotelli will come back to San Siro.
“Balotelli is a great player and in general terms would be a good signing for Milan, but it's too early to talk about it.”
SuperMario has never disguised the fact he supports the Rossoneri.
