Claudio Ranieri has admitted that ‘if you can coach in Italy, you can coach anywhere’.
The tactician has had spells at Fiorentina, Juventus, Roma and Inter, but is currently in charge of French side Monaco.
“Once you have coached in Italy, you can coach anywhere,” he told L’Equipe. “In Italy the Coach is a paratrooper who jumps out of the plane but doesn’t know if the parachute will open or not.
“The secret is to have serenity and good humour. I am one of those people that likes to have a laugh in training.
“I like to go back to my wife in a peaceful mood.”
